Data Processing & Extension Disclosure

The WorkOnce browser extension runs inside your own browser. When you open a supported job application, it reads the fields on that page and fills them with the details from your profile. This happens locally, in the session you are already signed into. The extension acts only when you use it, and it never submits an application. You review everything and click submit yourself.

The form-filling itself happens in your browser. To provide the service, your saved profile, resume, and answers are stored in our secure backend so they are available across devices and browsers.

• Stays local: the act of reading and filling fields on a job portal page, and the page content of the portal you are viewing.
• Stored by us: the profile details, saved answers, and resume you choose to save, so we can fill forms for you later.

If you choose to connect Gmail, WorkOnce can scan for job-application-related emails to help track the status of your applications. This is strictly opt-in. It is off unless you connect it, it reads only what is needed to detect application updates, and you can disconnect it at any time from Settings. If you never connect Gmail, no email data is accessed at all.

If you upload a resume, we process the file to extract your details so you do not have to type them. This uses an automated parsing step. The extracted information becomes part of your profile, which you can review and edit.

We use a small set of trusted infrastructure providers to run WorkOnce. They process data only to provide their service to us and under their own security and privacy commitments:

• a cloud hosting, database, authentication, and storage provider that runs our backend;
• an automated model provider used to parse uploaded resumes;
• Google, only if you choose to connect Gmail for application tracking.

You can view and edit your profile, disconnect Gmail, and delete individual entries or your whole account at any time. Deleting your account removes your stored data. See the Privacy Policy for details on retention, your rights, and how to make a request.
