Why we built WorkOnce

Applying to jobs should be about whether you are a good fit, not whether you have the patience to retype your work history for the twentieth time. But that is what the process turned into. Companies moved their hiring onto applicant tracking systems like Workday, Greenhouse, and Lever, and every one of them asks for the same information in a slightly different form.

We watched capable people abandon applications halfway through, worn out by forms rather than stopped by the actual job. That felt backwards. The information almost never changes. The typing is the problem.

So we built WorkOnce. You enter your details one time. After that, a small browser extension recognizes the fields on an application and fills them in for you. You review everything and submit yourself. We do not apply on your behalf, and nothing leaves your hands without your say.

We keep your profile private and under your control. You can update it or delete it whenever you want. The goal is simple: give people their time back and let them apply to the work they actually want.
